Sports Direct

Sports Direct: This was the real reason that I came on a plane for a whole day, to go to Sports Direct. With around £75 or $150 I was determined to spend my dosh (lolly) on some football gear.

TEST: This is me just about to try on some Hypervenom Phantom fg II's, which ones are they? Answer in a comment please. The answer will be posted soon.  First correct answer will recieve a speical prize when I get back. :) DO NOT GOOGLE ANSWER!

This is the astonishing boot room at Sports Direct. As you can see they put alot of money in to their decoration.

Stop #2 (Ashton Under Hill)

Our Second Stop:

Our second stop was at Mum's sisters. We had a great time there including Leafs birthday celebration. Our cousins friend, who is 12, made this amazing cake for leaf with white chocolate lady bugs and bees with a hand full of smarties in the middle. This is Leafs second cake already, hopefully she doesnt get any more cakes.

We also went to an absoulutley amazing circus called Giffords Circus. My favourite acts were the hillarious clown called Tweedy, a tiny midget dude and the magician. There were some amazing acrobactics and juggling.

I wonder whether any of you girls could to this feat.

This is where our cousins live, well they liked to call this their country get away! This house is dating back to the 17th century and the people that live here (really!!) are related to King Henry the 8th!
Afternoon tea anyone?

Our First Stop (Byfield Village)

At our first stop:

We had an amazing time with our cousins on dad's side. Here are some pictures and captions of what we did:

There were some 'cracking the bricks' days (the means hot if you didn't know) so we made the most of them by using the bowling machine at our cousins local cricket club. The bowling machine was chucking down some 80 miles an hour Mitch Jonhson deliveries.

Byfield, their local primary school is so small compared too our school that in their year six class they have only nine children!

We also went to the Oxford Natrual Hustory museum and as you can see here I am thrilled with idea of being in the head of a Tyranosaurus Rex!

Leaf said she had an amazing birthday party with her cousins. She got a few presents like a hand knitted crown and wand. Then I gave her a minion. Her birthday cake was a massive pig with little baby pig cupcakes all around it.

My cousins had planned something for my birthday in March for when we came over and the time came. They took me too Mr.Karting. Mr.Karting is the best go karting place in the middlands. The karts go a total speed of 50 KM an hour! WOW! And I was going full pelt round the corners and over taking dad. We had to wear full body suits and that made me feel like an F1 driver. After the race I had extremely sore arms from steering and that made me think about how strong these F1 drivers really are.

In London

Our time in London:

We had a phenomenal time sight seeing in the city of London. We saw what the buildings are like, the culture and tourism. Enjoy the captions and photos.

We have just arrived in London by train and, if you have played Monopoly, got of he train in Marylebone Station.

We took a bus and observed the Houses of Parliment.

After a fair while sight seeing on the bus we walked round Buckingham Palace where the Queen lives.

I thought this might be a good photo since before I left we read a book in Library called the stone lion and yep, that's right I saw the real stone lions in Trafalgar Square.

In and around Trafalgar Square there are lots of street performers like this one here. How did he do it, I know but do you?

This is the tallest building in England and Western Europe, The Shard. In is 315 metres tall and if you think of that in comparison to the tallest building in the world, that we are going up, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai it is much much bigger. More than double the size!

We went on the London Eye. There were some amazing sights as you can see here. Fun Fact: The London Eye was originally built just for the millennium.

This is the skyline of the City of London from Tower Bridge.

This is us on our Big Bus tour.

This is some of the amour in the armoury and weapons room at the White Tower in the Tower of London.

This is us standing infront of a gaurd about to walk in to see the Crown Jewels. The gaurd has to stand there for 1 hour strait.

We stopped at three stopovers which were Brunei and Dubai then finally landed in London. We flew with Royal Brunei. It took us a total of 30 hours and 30 minutes or 30.5 hours or 1 day and 6.5 hours. We have arrived at our first destination which is my dad's sisters family. Their names are Uncle Rory, Auntie Lesley, Tommy, Holly and Orla. Here are some pictures of our arrival:

Preparation

This blog is for all our freinds and family, so they can keep in touch with us on our holidays.

Our first trip is to meet our family in England and Scotland for 4 weeks then have a relaxing backpacking trip around Sri Lanka. This is our map:

I personally think it will be amazing seeing all our family in England and Sri Lanka will bring loads of amazing adventures.

We are in the packing up stage of things and Banjo and I are really exited to be carrying our own backpacks round the whole country of Sri Lanka. But it will be very fun meeting lots of nice Sri Lankans and see what sort of traditions they have and what their food is like. Mum has been preparing us by giving us lots of different flavoured curry's. Some are nice and some have few too many vegetables. I get a little bit bored of having curry's every time I come in from soccer training so I'm always begging mum to mix it up a little with some wraps, burgers or pizza.

WE ARE SOOOOOOO EXITED!!
